Easy 5-Ingredient Weeknight Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

– 1 lb ground beef – 1 can cream of mushroom soup – 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables – 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese – 1 bag frozen tater tots

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish to prevent sticking and ensure even baking.

In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any grease, then return the beef to the pan.

Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and frozen vegetables. Mix well to combine into a creamy, hearty filling.

Spread the beef and veggie mixture evenly into the prepared casserole dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the beef mixture to create a rich, melty layer of flavor.

Arrange frozen tater tots on top in a single layer, covering the casserole completely for a crispy golden crust.

Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes or until tater tots are crisp and cheese is bubbling. Let cool slightly before serving.
